Cheetah’s rad beginnings date back to 2006, when it was known as the Maze Agency, kickstarted by a crew of hip-hop aficionados in Dallas and Houston. These cool cats swiftly earned street cred, collaborating with iconic hip-hop artists and producing platinum hits. They flexed their tech muscles by crafting the first-ever hip-hop website, setting the stage for future music platforms. Not ones to chill, Maze Agency’s founders traded the streets of Dallas and Houston for boardrooms and data centers. In 2011, they switched things up by rebranding as a cloud computing services provider, diving deep into cloud computing with NASA’s OpenStack. These innovators cooked up one of the first Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms and quantum-ready software-defined networking solutions for the big leagues.
In 2012, Maze dropped a powerful public cloud platform, turning heads of industry giants like Rackspace. But, plot twist! They bounced back to their agency roots, and by late 2012, Maze transformed into the Cheetah Agency.
