Cheetah’s origin story can be traced back to 2006 when it was known as Maze Agency, founded by a group of hip-hop enthusiasts in Dallas and Houston. They quickly made a name for themselves, working with legendary hip-hop artists and creating platinum-selling musical compositions. One of their most notable achievements was developing the first-ever hip-hop website, Texas Mixtapes. The team’s innovative tools and techniques laid the foundation for the music websites of the future. From their groundbreaking work on MySpace customizations to their eventual breakthroughs in browser-based music streaming, Cheetah always stood out for their beautiful design and futuristic technologies.
The founders of Maze Agency were not content to rest on their laurels. They eventually transitioned from the streets of Dallas and Houston to the boardroom and the data center. In 2011, the company changed its name to Dynastack, focusing on cloud computing based around NASA’s OpenStack. Here they invented one of the first Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms and one of the first quantum-ready software-defined networking solutions for enterprises.
Dynastack launched one of the most powerful public cloud platforms in 2012, drawing the attention of prominent companies like Rackspace. But in a surprising move, they ultimately ran back to the agency business, and in late 2012, Dynastack rebranded itself as Cheetah Agency. In the years since, Cheetah has made a name for itself beyond Dallas, working on projects for some of America’s most prominent corporations.

What sets Cheetah apart is their unique blend of hip urban style and cutting-edge technology. Their versatility allows them to work across multiple markets, from soap companies to SaaS solutions. But perhaps their most impressive feat was predicting on their own Facebook page that AI would overtake the agency business. To that end, the team has been hard at work developing an AI-based software called MarketBot, which they believe will not only replace traditional digital agencies but also eliminate the need for lower-level developers and lower costs for most of their enterprise clientele.
