It has been over a decade of amazing stories, innovation, friendships and a devotion to changing the world – it’s a story everyone wishes they had but it didn’t come without many trials and tribulations. Our mascot Dash decided to write a letter and begged us for a page on our new website – and so we gave in. Enjoy.
Dear Cheetah Family,
Hey there, it’s Dash, the trusty Cheetah mascot! I’m writing to share our incredible journey with you, from our humble beginnings as hip-hop enthusiasts to becoming a globally recognized, full-service tech, marketing, and creative agency. So, buckle up and join me as we look back on our past and leap forward into our promising future.
Our origin story goes all the way back to 2006 when we were known as Maze Agency, founded by a group of hip-hop lovers in Dallas and Houston. Through hard work and dedication, our founders quickly made a name for themselves, working with legendary hip-hop artists and creating platinum-selling compositions. One of their most notable achievements was developing the first-ever hip-hop website, Texas Mixtapes, which laid the foundation for future music websites.
From groundbreaking work on MySpace customizations to breakthroughs in browser-based music streaming, Cheetah has always been synonymous with beautiful design and futuristic technologies. Our founders’ relentless pursuit of innovation led them to transition from the streets of Dallas and Houston to the boardroom and the data center. In 2011, the company rebranded as Dynastack, focusing on cloud computing based around NASA’s OpenStack. They invented one of the first Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms and quantum-ready software-defined networking solutions for enterprises.
In 2012, Dynastack launched a powerful public cloud platform, attracting attention from prominent companies like Rackspace. But the agency business was calling, and in late 2012, we transformed into the Cheetah Agency you know and love today. Since then, we’ve worked on projects for some of America’s most prominent corporations, showcasing our unique blend of hip urban style and cutting-edge technology.
As Paul Wall once said, we have the “Internet Going Nuts.” Our versatility allows us to work across multiple markets, from soap companies to SaaS solutions. We predicted on our Facebook page that AI would overtake the agency business, and we’ve been hard at work ever since developing AI-based software like MarketBot. We believe this revolutionary technology will replace traditional digital agencies, eliminate the need for lower-level developers, and reduce costs for our clients.
Our journey from the muddy streets of South Dallas to the boardrooms of Miami, Florida, is a testament to the power of creativity, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence. As we dive into the future with our sub-company, DotBot, we’re taking the lead in AI development, creating platforms like DraftBot, NameBot, DevBot, and DesignBot, among others.
From our roots in hip-hop to our ongoing success in creative, tech, and marketing services, our story demonstrates that anything is possible with vision and determination. As we continue to innovate and redefine the boundaries of what’s achievable, we’re grateful to have you along for the ride.
